I too have cervical stenosis and myelopathy of the neck but doctors have told me that the problems with my neck would not be giving me all over pins, needles, numbness muscle twitches all over, visual disturbances and bowel disturbances. I also get a full blown sensory overload, a altering of my sensory awareness.

BCBS once again denied my neurologist to do a MRI on my spine and brain. I am so upset about that.

It's not that my suffering is from pain, I do not have a pain issue. It's a neurological altering of my sensory awareness, pins, needles and numbness throughout my body.

I'm sorry, I don't know what "SE" means. I used Grassroots Full Spectrum RSO. It is supposed to be almost all THC. I just took it once (yesterday). I mixed 1 gram of it into 454 grams of peanut butter (this is what the MM pharmacist told me to do). I think it works out to about 13 grams of THC per dose. I talked to the pharmacist again today, and he thinks that if I had a bad reaction to the THC, I should just use pure CBD oil. He said it is best to get it over the counter, since it is cheaper. He also said that CBD from Hemp is just as good as from marijuana. I am not sure it any of this is correct. Thanks for your help.

SE=side effects and if you used RSO only THC wow! I can appreciate that you had SE’s. It is recommended to use CBD with some THC and this is known as an “entourage effect” which is desired. I’m using Relief RSO CBD/THC (19/1) divided into capsules 3x day plus vaping.

The side effects were that my neuropathy pain got much worse. I also felt like I had electricity coursing through my body. The MM pharmacist is the one that recommended the high THC RSO. Have you heard that off-the-shelf CBD oil (from Hemp) is as good as marijuana CBD oil?

I also ended up with neuropathy from chemotherapy treatments; which I only had two treatments for breast cancer. My last treatment was June 7th. I noticed the numbness on the bottom of both feet first in August and then in both hands, although not as numb as my feet. My oncologist said it would go away, but didn't say how long the numbness would last. I read in 3-5 months, and maybe just partially go away. He didn't suggest any medication for me. My pharmacy suggested this ribbing oil called Frankincense Myrrh: temporary pain relief, analgesic and anti inflammatory. Homeopathic 2 fl. oz. Comes with a dropper. I rub it on the bottoms of my feet at night. I've used now less than a week. It does keep the inflammation down. I'm wondering about the alpha lipoic that you mentioned .

I think the alpha lipoic acid has helped. I was told to try L-Carnitine also, but two days in a row it made me vomit. My feet are getting better. I had many sessions of chemo. Now I only go every 3 weeks and get Herceptin which isn't damaging like the Taxol. I don't know why they would only give you two sessions for breast cancer. I was dreadfully sick about 2 weeks into the treatment and the Taxol dose was lowered by 20 percent. I told the doctor I didn't want to take Taxmoxifen for the next 5 to 10 years as I heard it thins my hair and other miserable side effects with only a 2 percent better chance of staying in remission. It also doesn't hurt to try the D3 (5000 IU) and the K2 that I ordered from Amazon. I have ordered some shoes that supposedly help my feet with thin soles but knobby bottoms so I can feel the pedals and have them stick to the pedals. I was told to rub geranium oil on my feet mixed with other oil to make it less strong. I haven't tried it yet. I also bought that on Amazon. I've had good luck buying CBD in oil form and gummies from CBDmd on line. I have the numbness in both feet and one hand except for my pinky finger. The other hand is fine.

My oncologist told me that my body can't handle what the chemotherapy treatment was doing to me. After the first treatment, five days later I mysteriously ended up with c-diff. Three weeks later, when I got my second treatment, I found out that I have a small hiatal hernia and achalasia type 111. So he decided to stop the chemotherapy treatment and I had surgery; mastectomy on the right breast and plastic surgeon was there to put in an expander, which e will be replaced with permanent implant after I get the achalasia taken care of. I had a stage 3 cancer. Oncologist told me he that he is 85-90% sure the cancer won't come back.

I'm glad that you are going to most probably be okay. I believe I was stage two, it had spread to 3 lymph nodes and I had a lump less than 2 cm removed. Then chemo and then 30 sessions of radiation. I could handle the radiation again, it was tedious, but no more chemo for me. My daughter came and stayed with me for 2 months. During the worst of it she said she would come into my room to see if I was still alive. I have a bottom corner of my breast missing, though it seems to be filling in a little. It kind of makes me laugh to look at it!

Prognosis today is pretty positive for many types of breast cancer.

Yes, I'll take the 85-90% as very good. Just wish it hadn't given me neuropathy. Oncologist said it would probably go away. I read that it might take 3-5 months if it goes away, then maybe only partially. Luckily, I just have numbness on the bottoms of feet. My hands are doing better than my feet. Mostly just a little numbness in the morning hours. Still need to have the final surgery to get the permanent implants put in. I had breast cancer in my left breast 26 years ago. Seven years later I had implants put in both breasts. So since the left one is now 19 years old, plastic surgeon said it is best to replace it with a new one.

It sounds like you have a lot of experience with Medical Marijuana (MM). I also live in Pennsylvania and just received my MM card. A doctor and the MM pharmacist both recommended RSO, so I just tried it yesterday. I have severe, painful small fiber neuropathy in my feet, legs, hands, and arms, and it seems to excite it even more. I had the same experience a couple of years ago with high THC MM. I had read before that higher CBD was better for nerve pain. It also did not seem to help my back pain (which I also have). Do the initial bad effects go away after a while?

Good afternoon cwallen9. I don't know how old you happen to be. Depending, you may remember when flower children used marijuana before going to a concert or an art show because it enhanced their experience.....I think the excitement was the objective. You may have to make some adjustments. I had to learn to do that early on. It all works now, at least for me. I also have severe SFN as you do.

May you have peace and ease.
Chris

I am 65 and grew up in "the 70's", I just started on RSO Harle-Tsu (4:1 CBD to THD). Hopefully that will help me. I am glad that it is helping you.
