Third vaccine to boost antibodies against COVID infection?
Has anyone heard of or has information about transplanted folks receiving a third or another set of vaccines? I’m 20+ years out on my renal transplant and am thinking this might be a good thing to try.

I meant bio mechanical engineering for my son in law.
@gingerw I do not know what SMM is and will have to look it up. I do know it is a type of cancer and has resulted in you undergoing chemo. In another discussion I believe I read that it interferes with your search for a living kidney donor for your kidney situation. My hopes and prayers for you is that the chemo helps the SMM and doesn’t tank your kidneys. I believe that if a kidney transplant is in our futures it will happen in God’s timing and in His way. Thank you for all the support and encouragement you give to others. It is Monday and I believe I’m back to normal.
@cehunt So glad to hear you are feeling back to normal today! Really makes you appreciate it, doesn't it? Being miserable for a couple of days can be a real downer.
Thank you for the kind words. Since I am considered an active cancer patient, organ transplant cannot be considered. My sister offered to be a living donor candidate, but it will be at least 3 years out, so anything like that is on hold. I am at 18% last time the eGFR was checked. The SMM morphed into active multiple myeloma, which sometimes happens; many people go for several years before that happens. Guess I had to get antsy and jumped the gun, huh?
