I have not known of anyone who has had this problem, but here is some information that might help you understand this a bit better,
Excerpt from article linked below — "Sometimes macular pucker is the result of an injury or a medical condition, such as diabetes, that affects the eye. Epiretinal membranes can sometimes form after eye surgery, including cataract surgery. The cause of most cases of macular pucker is not known. It does sometimes follow cataract surgery. From the articles above, it appears that surgery is an option to correct the problem if your vision is distorted to a degree that it is causing problems.
Has your doctor offered any suggestions for treating it?
