Autoimmune Fatigue and/or Chronic Fatigue
Hi Wondering if anyone has been diagnosed with autoimmune fatigue and/or chronic fatigue? I was diagnosed at Mayo Clinic. I wish there was more research into both of these...

A physiatrist at Boeing was referred to me because they notice many of their workers health issues were the same as mine. The body is composed of negative & positive ions, as are all things.
Next I went to Chinatown because I had many friends from Asia & they used herbs & acupuncture (which realigns the body’s ions).. After acupuncture I would feel like a 12 cylinder Jaguar..
We travelled often to visit family in France & Italy.. We stayed at farmhouses made of stone with old fashion radiator heating.. Even with jet lag, I always felt better.. The mental fog would clear up.. So we came home & rebuilt.. Using cement board, tile & only pure wood.. No laminate woods because of the chemicals used to bond the plywood together.
I also eliminated all cosmetic products that used mineral oil or coal tar or mica.. I use only hypo allergenic products.
Back in the 70’s & 80’s it was hard to find these products..
Thank you so much for asking about my path of discovery..
Next I will write about medical choices that made a different..
Have a good day..!!!
I found a naturalpathic Dr who used a “Vega Machine”... It diagnosed different substances that I was physically challenged by & then used homeopathy drops made by “Professional Formulas”.. This process is so important, please call & inquiry if a natural path uses this process..
@dianegerrodette I have never heard of a Vega machine—i will have to look it up! Does your naturopath prescribe the homeopathy drops and how to use them? This is all so interesting. Can you tell me more about how you found this practitioner and what made you want to follow an alternative direction in health care?
My MD had heard of VEGA machines when he was a DR in Germany for the army.. Please enquirer at Naturalpathic colleges.. My natural path also prescribed the drops.. There are also different herbs that are used to enrich the immune system...
My body collapsed after hip replacement surgery.. I became allergic to porcelain & all metals.. When my body become on overload, it will produce
to many attach cells.. & my Epstein Barr roars back & my bodies ability to walk become severally challenged..
I hope this is of some help to you... hugs
I am following a natural path because I have MS and my MD saw how my body responded to drugs.. I have study the effect of nutrient upon my bodies ability to recover after the collapse of my immune system & recovery from emergency surgery, a rupture appendix.. I was hospitalized for over three weeks.
The biggest challenge is de-stressing ones life.. Turning negatives into positives.. finding and sharing joy with like minded people.
Living alone out in the country, living through this isolation has been a big challenge..Negative people have been eliminated from my life..Find an actively that creates joy for someone else.. I believe in random acts of kindness..
Your writing of self-perception and the necessity of positive relationships is excellent in my opinion.
I, too, have MS and have found I must add no artificial foods of that nature to my diet . I do use a modicum of salt, rarely pepper of any sort, and lots of garlic, ginger, onions and many foods of a green nature, purple, yellow, etc., meat without additives, occasional peanut butter --nickel content is too high must seldomly eat it, vastly decreased foods with high loads of nickel--found the lists on the internet), only olive oil without additives (if I can help it), MCT oil, and no chocolate of any nature .
I have lost weight unintentionally but it has enhanced my awareness of what all foods contain and decreased my pain and marginally decreased my fatigue. I do admit I do occasionally, like rarely, have crsipy fried chicken wings with garlic sauce.
To maintain my calmness and tranquility, very importantly I do stay away from people who smoke (my asthma kicks in with a vengeance) or who raise religious or political questions about me...not only do they not share their views with me but they scorn mine. Those two aspects of my life are very private unless the people are very open minded.
I meditate a lot and my favorite time is at sundown and sunrise and in bed just prior to sleep. For most of the years I have lived, I have I found it very difficult to get more than 2 hours of sleep due to bone pain, intermittent leg spasms, fatigue....though I am rarely, rarely ill. with anything other than RA and SPMS.
I appreciated bing able to share my thoughts with you.
I want to reach out & give you a hug.. I live on s as n island outside of Seattle.. Likely there are many organic farms here.. both produce & animals..
Our water here is heavy in metals .. Pure filter from the hardware store has so changed how my body responds to water.. when traveling I drink distilled water..
I so embrace your out look on life.. I certainly look forward to having you in my life.. take care.. Diane Gerrodette
I also have RA but by desensitizing my body by the use of a “Vega” machine & taking the homeopathic drops my RA has totally mellowed (had my first RA attach 25 years ago).
I have found CucuPlex-95 & Ashwagandha stops the pain, Evening Primerose & Hemp Oil heals the lumps.. Iwas introduced to these products by my natural path but they can be purchased on Amazon..
I take all natural vitamins for my leg spasms.. My body needed more calcium/magnesium for my nerves..
Take care... many hugs
@dianegerrodette and @bodega Im so glad you found each other. It sure sounds like you can help each other, and other members, with your thoughts, suggestions, and friendliness!
Also, try a non-processed diet, more homecooking. I don't do the AIP diet, or Dr Terry Wahl's, but there are some good recipes to get started. Avoid sugar, aspartame, high fructose corn syrup.
