Music Helps Me

At times music can be helpful. I like the group Anthem Lights...A new discovery for me when I was perusing youtube. A Capella has always been my thing. I love to sing!!!!!

@parus In my car, since my medical appts are way-too-frequent and way-too-far-away, I did a thumb drive loaded with 1700 songs. A wide mix of genres, it is on shuffle, so you never know what will come up next. Sarah Brightman to classic rock, Celtic to Native American, classic to country, and everything in between. Music is healing.

Hello, Ginger. How did you put that together, the thumb drive? I'd like to do that for myself. What do you plug the thumb drive into in the car? May sound silly, but truly a novice, dumb hut when it comes to these things!!!

@ess77 and @hopeful33250 My husband ripped most of our CDs of music onto thumbdrives via the computer. It is plugged into a USB port on the car to play. I can play by album, artist, shuffle and take my chance. It's great!

Well, @parus, @gingerw and all....suppose my car is too old too. Don't know. I'll have to see if I have a USB port....I can charge my cell phone! That's pretty good.

My orchid is in full bloom outside and I want to send photo; been trying to make it work. John, @johnbishop, will you give me pointers? Got a great pic in cell phone gallery. Tried to 'share' but it didn't go, so what is the secret?
Thanks I think, knowing you you'll get me straightened out. Also, getting emails sent to spam again so have to find your instructions....I saved them w/banner.

If your car has a cigarette lighter you could get a charging cord that has a USB plug on it.

Well, Mr. Jake, that's how I charge my cell phone! same concept, eh? Just have to get the right size thumb drive? Guess they do come in various sizes, just like the charger does?
