How about buying one from Amazon, for $129? And if it doesn't help you, send it back. I have been using it and it seems to give some relief, but I have only had it for a couple of weeks. I am hopeful, the copays were killing me at the Drs.
I also bought an inexpensive laser (~$150) for neuropathy after receiving therapy at a physical therapist for awhile. I can't say that it helped at all. I don't know if that means that laser therapy doesn't work or the unit I bought is not the real thing. It supposedly has the right wavelengths and power levels. Or maybe it just doesn't work for my type of neuropathy.

When I woke up today, i could finally straighten out my leg again for the first time in almost 4 weeks. It may be a coincidence, I don't know. My next laser Therapy treatment is tomorrow. And I was just curious if anyone else have tried it, and what was the outcome?

Hello @bente80, I would like to add my welcome to Connect along with @amandajro and others. It is good to hear that the low level laser therapy has helped you. I looked into it earlier in my diagnosis but decided against it because of the cost and needing multiple treatments with no guarantees that it would help me. You might consider sharing your neuropathy journey and update your experience with the LLLT treatments in another discussion here where myself and other members have shared what helps us:

Hi, thank you for the responses 😊 Last time at my fysiotherapist I got 2 "doses" of LLLT, and felt those "new sensations", today i got 3 "doses", and it felt like a lukewarm cloth were placed om my skin where i have had pain earlier. After about 12 hours my foot and toes felt warm, and have haf some "tightening" feeling in the nerve, but not pain. So... I look forward to wake up tomorrow, I hope there is more relief tomorrow, as happened the day after the last laser treatment.
I hope this will work, that it will help the nerve and knee joint calm down so that I can walk on crutches again... instead of sitting in wheelchair..
I am lucky I guess, who lives in Norway.., I pay 75 NOK (8 USD), for one laser therapy consultation. (But there are also private physiotherapists, and their prices are higher (about 70 USD for LLLT consultation/session).
