Having another OPS CT scan June 3. Then will decide what to do. I am hoping I do not have to remove entire replacement.

Cynthia - It sounds like you are in good hands. After all the recalled hips between 2009 and 2013, there are a number of orthopedists who now specialize in complex hip revision surgeries. I hope that is who you have found!

To anyone else suffering a hip implant that doesn't "feel right" please listen to @psg25 - the complications of metal poisoning from these protheses is real, and can be life-altering. When my failing implant was removed, my thigh muscle was described by the surgeon as "looking like oatmeal" and it took a lot of time to recover.
