Tumor on Kidney and Spread to Liver

Hi. My dad just found out he has a tumor on his right kidney and the tumor has spread to his liver. Does anyone have something similar to this and if you could share about it my sister and I would greatly appreciate it. Also if you could recommend and doctors at the Mayo Clinic for this it would be greatly appreciated as well. Thank you for your help!

@efirle,- Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I am a lung cancer survivor and mentor for Mayo Connect. I haven't had your dad's types of cancer but I do know what it feels like to be told that you have cancer and the shock that follows. I also know what it feels like to be told that it was not done with you.

While we wait for someone with your dad's cancer to share their experiences can you tell me how long your dad has had kidney cancer and then a metastis? What kind of treatments hs he had so far?
