What's outside of your picture window today?
As we get ready for the real winter to show up and COVID-19 still playing a major part in our lives I like to spend moments of my day de-stressing about what's going on in the world today. All I have to do is look out the window and observe some of natures beautiful creatures, how they interact and ponder how small it makes my troubles seem. Sometimes I may even get the opportunity to take a photo or two. How about you? Anything going on outside of your window(s) that you want to share?
For those members that have the ability to size your photos before you upload them to the discussion, may I suggest using the following sizes:
– 500 x 335 pixels (landscape)
– 210 x 210 pixels (square)

Thanks! Part of my problem - if it is one- is my commitment to enjoying each moment. I get so engrossed in watching the antics that I forget to grab the camera.

You should cook and eat your carrot tops. They are nutrient rich and good too.

Chicken soup is a nice thought but to feel better you need a good candy bar or two. They will perk you right up and if for some bizarre reason you’d want chicken soup the candy would give you the motivation to make it. Although I wouldn’t waste that motivation on chicken soup.
Hope your test turned out A-okay.
Take care,
Jake
Good to get a note from you, sir. I've missed you and need my Jake fix. Got it....good. Let us know how you are and what the doc call is about. That's tough medicine and I know what it can be like if/when it gets out of balance. There's that word again....balance. Amazing how important that is in our lives.
I'm doing ok. Still off, but better. Breathing is ok.....in very low 90's. HR staying lower in 60's. Interesting for me. Usually HR in 79-80's. Pleased when O2 in mid 90's, so still need to get it up a bit. Just had some different results after this little procedure. Still uncomfortable, not bad, just there. Guess the balloons worked, stretched the Schatzki Rings, made the esophagus unhappy, tho! Motility is an issue to be addressed in next week or so. Me and my muscles and nerves. All over....well, just another one to ck and deal. Silly list keeps growing, but I'm stronger and will be just fine. Life is good.....
Meanwhile, it's been storming here. Love it. Heading downstairs now to ck on my feeders and visitors. I may stay a while and see who arrives....phone camera in hand. Flowers are pitiful! I have my neighbor boys hired to come Sat at noon to clean up the patio and plant a few things. I have to get some color again, some beauty. Or, I begin to feel like I'm drowning....nature, beauty, flowers, birds and animals....my salvation!
John, what a fantastic post you shared with the Mayo Clinic Tempest. Be sure everyone sees that...it's wonderful to share the world through the miraculous eyes of our Mayo medical students, md and phd, beautiful and insightful work. Thank you for sending it my way. Filled a void in this day. Thanks, John.
Folks, hope you are all doing well today. Blessings, elizabeth
Oops, almost forgot to post what’s outside my window today! A couple of pics, not from today...but they’re fun anyway. Fuzzy baby geese. @jakedduck1 not ducks but maybe you’ll find them cute and cuddly anyway. ☺️
Beautiful pictures, Lori! The way you caught the sparkling light off the down....lovely and so appreciated! Thanks, blessings for today and always. elizabeth
@loribmt
Aren’t they adorable! I’ve never seen a duck 🦆 or goose I didn’t like.
I actually had a goose land in my front yard today. He or she honked a couple of times and then s/he went on its way.

@artist01 @ess77 @jakedduck1 No geese or duckies tonight! Just a glorious sunset in the north woods of Wisconsin.
@loribmt How delightful!!! Love the backlit one. nice capture.
Thank you! ☺️
