POST menopausal and suddenly tender nipples like I'm 25

No idea why this is happening. I haven't menstruated in 4 years..mammogram normal 3 mo ago. Very fatigued since Covid in July and recently now.extremely tender nipples. Should I get my hormones tested.or TSH rerun.or something?

@machstr, tender nipples and/or breasts are common during peri-menopause and the transition to post menopause. Since you are post menopause, it might be a good idea to seek medical advice.

Have you had any changes in medication recently or other health events that might be contributing to this change? For example, did you start or stop HRT?

This does sound unusual so I would check with my doctor, either a gynecologist or your PCP if you no longer see a gynecologist.

I am going through the exact same thing right now at the same amount of time post menopause . They think it’s my rheumatoid arthritis but I don’t think it is…. Anybody have any ideas? Also, I’m have clear vaginal discharge too just like when you are getting ready to ovulate…Amy help would be appreciated. I am speaking to my endocrinologist on Wednesday to review my thyroid results as I had my thyroid removed 6 years ago due to thyroid cancer. My T4 is high too.
