How do you know when it is time to get a living donor transplant with PSC? Is it better to get it sooner rather than later? MELD is pretty low, and overall health is good, but if you wait until very sick is that a smart thing to do, rather than when younger and overall healthier?

I received my transplant from an anonymous deceased donor in 2009. It sounds like you or a loved one are at the beginning of the transplant journey. I invite you to the Transplant Discussion Group where you can talk with others in stages of transplant.
