Does CBD help with pain?

Posted by buickturboman @buickturboman, Mar 31, 2021

Not sure if CBD is voodoo medicine. I tried full spectrum gummies a couple times which has like 3 percent THC, it didn't seem to help. One AM the THC made me feel weird do paid back in bed.Im not sllowed to take NSAIDS any more like Advil of Celebrex. Tylonal is useless. My duddy tells me to buy this CBD Elixer. What are your experiences? I hear CBD can be an anti- inflamatory. This therapist put level 5 rub on my knees but think the menthol and camphor is what I felt, a little help at best I think but not sure CBD did anything. CBD is expensive too.

Good evening @ardis3, How severe is your post-surgery pain at this time. Are you experiencing inflammation also. Even now I have the fluid around my other knee removed with MFR (myofascial release therapy). The Baker's Cyst fills up and needs to be relieved.

I think I would use a 1:1 CBD/THCor for daytime activity and a 2:1 CBD/THC for bedtime. You can always adjust the dosage. Let me know how it works for you.

And I almost forgot the topical. You may just be happy with a 1:3 CBD/THC balm which is usually for acute pain. Change it to a 3:1 CBD/THC for chronic pain. You can read about those choices on the P and B (Papa and Barkley) website.

May you be free of suffering and the causes of suffering.
Chris

Thank your for your reply. I had TKR fourteen months ago and have steadily been have more pain and swelling. Having a hard time walking and standing. ROM went from 120 after MUA to 105 now. XRays show no problem. Just had Cat Scan today so hopefully that will show what is wrong. Knee is much worse after TKR surgery. My operating doctor retired. The two doctors who took over his patients just blew me off and said nothing was wrong and I would just have to deal with being unhappy with my knee. The third doctor order the Cat Scan. Hope he can figure out what is wrong.
