4-Wheel Lightweight Walker

Posted by sunnyflower @sunnyflower, Feb 11, 2021

Hello. My 4-wheel walker weighs 14#. I need to get a second one but it's not available anymore on Amazon and really, I need a lighter weight one that also has a mechanism to hold it closed once folded up. Mine has a seat which I want too. I did a search and couldn't find any discussions on this. Thanks so much, warmest wishes, @sunnyflower PS: I will take any close options too.

11 pounds. Is this the one you're talking about: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MB9POYA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Thanks so much for looking out for me! Warmest regards, Sunny

@ga29, Sorry, I haven't used a walker for normal outdoors walking. I use one without wheels at night for my old man trips to the bathroom to prevent falls. For longer walks outside I've started using Nordic walking sticks. The link that I shared looked to be a good lightweight walker with a seat. Not sure you can find one much lighter than 13.5 lbs.

If it were me wanting to purchase one for myself, I would try to find a local medical supply store so that I could find something and try it before using it plus get advice from a trained therapist which most medical supply stores have.

Thank you! My husband weighed it and it does weigh only 11#!!! The bag that attaches is pretty heavy though! Take care, Sunny
