What's outside of your picture window today?
As we get ready for the real winter to show up and COVID-19 still playing a major part in our lives I like to spend moments of my day de-stressing about what's going on in the world today. All I have to do is look out the window and observe some of natures beautiful creatures, how they interact and ponder how small it makes my troubles seem. Sometimes I may even get the opportunity to take a photo or two. How about you? Anything going on outside of your window(s) that you want to share?
For those members that have the ability to size your photos before you upload them to the discussion, may I suggest using the following sizes:

@becsbuddy Hello, Becky! Love your pictures! Hope you keep and frame some of these.....great framing and composition from an admirer. Beautiful and amazing to this southerner to have this today, in mid-March, when we're burting out in pollen and bloom and allergy meds. Fun to see and learn how you live..will learn how to send pic from my flowers, orchids in bloom, azaleas busting out, pollen covering cars. Such varying lives and experiences. Enjoy and please keep coming.....blessings and stay warm. elizabeth
@johnbishop Where are you living? What area? Is this amount of snow normal for this time of year? I'm learning.....blessings, elizabeth
Southern Minnesota near Rochester. We like to think snow is not normal this time of year but Mother Nature loves to remind us she is still around 🙂
@ess77 I lived in Western Pa. outside of Pittsburgh
@johnbishop Yep, John and lioness. you both are tough characters, and Ginger and Sue and all the other dear souls who love this weather and can enjoy it so well. Great for you....it's 80 today, 67 tonight, my feet are freezing! What would I do in MN or PA or Rochester? Find toe warmers like John got? Right? Bless you all! elizabeth
@johnbishop Hi, John. Thanks from my bird families. I just ordered, from Chewy, some peanut suet and a couple of new feeders. I also found several kinds of wild bird seed w/chili peppers! Squirrels don't like the hot pepper.....is this true? I've never known this and got some for a couple of my feeders I want to fill for special birds. I also have a new hummingbird feeder from last year I've never hung. It's going out tomorrow, and with my flowers hanging around I may see some tiny hummers. Hope so....I don't mind feeding the squirrels as they are important in our area and are lots of fun to watch chase and 'play'. Important part of my outside my picture life, that's extremely important to my health. Thanks for your input. Blessings and enjoy life. elizabeth
@ess77 Talk about squirrel 🐿️ my husband made a house bird feeder ,next day we looked out and something was inside the house yep a squirrel 🐿️ so he had to take the roof of boy that 🐿️ was happy to get out of there right to our woods he went. The hummers love to fight over the nectar fun to watch I had a swing for them it was fun seeing them on it
@lioness, quite a squirrel story there, Lioness. Love it. They are fascinating to watch, hanging upside down by their toes, not feet, toes, as they allow their bodies to hang down to a feeding hole. Their growth rate determines if they can get the food or how long they can hang there to munch. What a picture. You must have a bunch with the woods nearby. Enjoy. I'll keep you posted and learn how to send a pic soon. blessings, elizabeth
@ess77 Yes I have lots of stories we had 1/2 acre in woods behind our house
Becky- I am so jealous.
