I did not know that. I can't take blood thinners or celebrex for my arthritis due to AVM's. I don't measure how much I eat. I made a pudding with the chia seeds, and I ate 4 oz. I also made flaxseed and chia bread, but haven't had that too much. I never measured. Now I probably can't have that either and will have to go back to fiber pills.

@dablues you may not need to go back to the fiber pills if you eat foods with fiber in your diet. A diet with fruits and vegetables will contain fiber. Look at the nutrition labels of foods you buy. Legumes also contain lots of fiber. My mother is 90 years old with diabetes which she manages through food and exercise. She does fine with her foods. Does not take any fiber pills or stool softeners. Yes, any products containing aspirins or supplements like fish oils or vitamin E oil you need to be careful because they can act like blood thinners.
