Dry mouth remedies
I have Sjogren's Syndrome that causes dry mouth. I have been using Biotene Oral Balance Dry Mouth Moisturizing Gel to help me sleep at night. I put 1/2" on my tongue and my saliva started to flow and it sting my throat when I swallowed it. May be the strong sweetness irritate my throat? Wonder if you have the same experience?
Also, any recommendation for products that you use that help your dry mouth will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

This reminds me of an incident that happened when I was visiting a friend in Santa Fe. I always have water by my table when I go to sleep at night. I did the same thing there only she gave me a metal container without the lid. I reached for it during the night and grabbed it as it fell. The container took a lot of my skin from my forearm and I bled. Not wanting to soil her mat by my bedside, I used the remaining ice to get the blood out of the mat. I usually carry bandaids, but not this trip. I ran my arm under water and used paper towels (that I usually travel with) and rubber bands to "dress" my wound. We went to a drug store the next day and I purchased gauze pads and adhesive tape to properly dress my wounds. Lesson learned: Be prepared for anything!
@funcountess Sorry late reply phone wasn't working properly but go to cvs ,walmart should have it also .I love the lozengers. Good luck finding them 🙂

Just curious, why did she give you a metal container?
Did she not have a glass to give you?

I would use Biotin mouth spray. Easy to grab in the dark. With lozenges I'm afraid to go to sleep with them in my mouth.

(Cont...) Tumbler gets knocked over the water that escapes is merely a few drops! I should've done this years ago! Do try the Biotene spray. It's the only thing thats helped me...
My dentist recommended Xylomelt mints. I get them on Amazon. I have Sjogren's and developed lichens plenas. It does help with dry mouth.
Why not just use bottled water with replaceable caps beside your bed?
I have dry mouth due to a medication I am on. After several tries to find something for relief, I found that sour candies work for me as they stir up the saliva. Perhaps that might work for you?
