Neuropathy Medications
Hello, read this artical from the FDA dated January 30th, 2020, about dangers of Gabapentin, Lyrica and other drugs. I thought it worthy of our attention : https://www.fda.gov/drugs/drug-safety-and-availability/fda-warns-about-serious-breathing-problems-seizure-and-nerve-pain-medicines-gabapentin-neurontin
Warmest regards, Sunnyflower 🙏

Congratulations. I totally agree with your thinking, and wish you a great out outcome. Just an interesting point on improving the walk motion. I can walk around the house, but, as my left foot is most affected, but improving.However I then considered if I continued to walk in an un natural gait , the brain would read that into my body map. I decided to walk with two stick, with clamps on forearm. This allows me to walk slowly with full use heel to toes action.As a result the contact and use of left foot is improving quickly. I am now walking outdoors with the sticks, with a good motion. I walked 300 yards yesterday, and will increase distance slowly . Best wishes, and go for it!
My wife doesn't remember which vertebra, but mine is L3L4.
I don't know if I have done a profile or not ... I'll check in October ... I won't have time until then. We're in escrow on the house we're selling and it's chaos with everyone trying their best to work from home but no one in any of the companies knowing what anyone else is doing and mistakes are happening every day. We just went through some scary days while closing on the house we bought. Peggy
@pfbacon Are you moving back to CA? Hope your alright 👍
Peggy, mine is pretty lame because I'm such a private person or at least I was until becoming active in this blog LOL! Maybe I will go back a put more into it when I have time. No worries everyone here seems to understand time pressures. Be well, Sunny flower
Bethany Beach, Delaware. I love it here. I run on the beach every day, bike most anywhere, the weather is mild compared to other places I've been, and the people are nice. I love California but it has changed so much ... I'm sure my old neighborhoods (Palos Verdes in LA, The Presidio in SF) are still safe but for how long? The cities are jungles, the monkeys have ravaged all the lower-hanging fruit and torn off the branches, they are hungry constantly, their numbers are increasing exponentially, they will get to the tops of the trees. Bethany Beach is on the Delmarva Peninsula, it's sparsely populated and safer than many other parts of the country. We're close to our daughter in Washington DC, taxes are low, new medical centers are opening up to fill the doctor shortage ... Our house near DC is in escrow, this month is busy for me as I'm there now making tough decisions about what the movers will take and what the "I'll take anything" junk man will take ... antiques, china, silver, art, musical equipment, have almost no value now. I can't take them, so I just have to let them go with the junk man. We aren't going to have dinner parties any more, we won't attend charity balls, our gracious life is over. It hurts but I will mend. I have the beach. I can remind myself that I am trading it all for the Atlantic Ocean, the salty/windy air, birds, seals, foxes, turtles, dolphins, whales ... in that perspective, it's worth it. Peggy
PS ... Thanks for asking. Where do you live? We are digressing a tad from the topic - I hope no one minds. Peggy

@pfbacon @lioness
You guys are making me miss my old childhood haunts in Delaware. Stop it! 😊 I used to love going to Bethany Beach in the 50's & 60's. Is there anything better than the feeling of a safe and warm and family-loving memory from childhood? Peggy, my hat is off to you for doing something wonderful for yourself and moving to such a great place. My last visit was in 2003 and it had changed a bit bt not TOO much. Good luck on completing your move. Hank
