I hope this is permitted here - I'd like to suggest you check this Facebook Group "ESBL and Chronic UTI Support Group" which posts the latest research on this affliction, and is extremely helpful. About D-Mannose - agree totally. iHerb also sells it. Feel better soon!
@mmbaluyut, I take no meds for my kidney function or prediabetes but found that changing my diet and making myself take 3 walks/week have improved both my kidney and prediabetes values. You are so right, we are each so different and meds that work for one may not for another. I'm learning to do more research on the meds I do take and to ask my docs more questions about their effects. Because of so many bouts of chronic bronchitis, I've taken a great deal of prednisone over the years. Now I question how that may have impacted my lessening kidney function.
Do you take tub baths? I used to get UTI infections all the time when I did that. I now take only showers and haven't had one in years.
Cranberry juice is recommended for bladder health

I used to have recurring bladder infections and take cranberry pills and haven't had one since. They have worked 100%! I have been on them for literally years. I buy mine at Costco but started out buying them at Walgreens or Wal-Mart.
My sister uses D-Mannose every day and it's helped her tremendously.
Is she diabetic?
D-mannose daily and Rephresh Pro B daily. It's a probiotic that eliminated all my utis & bladder infections within less than 2 weeks, which I was having weekly for almost a year. It may be a ph issue. Stay away from antibiotics if you can. I was also taking cranberry powder daily, but it made no difference whatsoever in my case. Good luck to you!
