Inroads to transplants

This morning, a Newsfeed post was put up by Mayo Clinic, talking about advances in lung, liver, and kidney transplants. It certainly has some great information!

When I read this newsfeed article about transplants, seeing there is a loosening of the kidney transplant upper age limit is encouraging. We find so many more seniors experiencing wonderful health into much later years! Also, the innovations for ailing livers was very interesting.

My husband had a kidney transplant on October 1, 2016, from a younger deceased donor. He has had no issues or problems of any significance.
