Wounds that take a long time to heal. Why?
I have wounds that take forever to heal and everything leaves a scar. Simple scratches to punctures and scrapes. Is this part of having an autoimmune disease?

I was so surprised to find your mention of oral lichen planus on this blog and not the lichen planus blog. That blog was my first connection with anyone who has it. Most people and even doctors have never heard of it. I got it in 2002 after taking Prilosec for a month. I was not given any treatment by dermatologist but my dentist suggested things for my mouth. My mouth burned constantly. Tissue inflamed and painful. I meditated are natural food and exercises. It went into remission and little patches would appear and then quiet down. I had cataract surgery on both eyes and from taking the eye drops it flared in my mouth with brown spots all over face and a few others here and there. I just saw an oral surgeon who gave me a prescription for lidex gelato help my gums. I am hoping I can put it into remission again. Please post your information on the lichen planes blog. There are so few of us. Wishing you well
