@johnbishop

This past week I had the good fortune to find and watch 2 really very good, heartwarming movies based on true stories (my favorite types).

Noble (2014) - Based on the life of Christina Noble who grew up in poverty in Ireland and did some amazing work in Vietnam for homeless children of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Official Trailer - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogoeU_59XEM

Same Kind of Different as Me (2017) - Really enjoyed this one also - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PltWQ8kQe04

@johnbishop Recently I lose interest, or fall asleep, partway through a movie. Good thing you can queue it up again ;))

I love listening to the birds in the morning and saw this interactive page - click on the bird to hear it's song. If you have cats, it does get their attention 🙂

Did you click the link or just the picture below the link? I uploaded a copy of the page just to show what it looks like. You have to go to the website and then click on each of the birds to hear their songs.

PBS segment on whales and fishing off Mass. coast. Never knew there was an annual full speaking of Moby Dick! Sounds like readers brighten the story just a bit : )
Remembering my trips to Martha's Vineyard with love.

This time of year I am watching the quail run around in early evening, their topknots bobbing and looking for all the world like softballs with legs, they are so fat!

In the mornings we have the scrubjays and doves, plus other assorted birds. Turkey vultures are heralds of spring around this area. Eagles are nesting. The Canadian geese have hatched out their eggs already. And if you listen carefully you hear the hoot owls at night.
