Visual Escapes and Daily Inspirations: Share Yours

Let's create a space to offer a daily reprieve.

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a lot of uncertainty and fear into our lives. Some of that fear and uncertainty can be caused by over thinking what is going on or unnecessarily worrying. So, I'm making sure I wash my hands frequently, not touching my face, staying away from social gatherings and all of the recommended guidelines to help avoid getting or spreading COVID-19 but it can be a little boring. I try to not watch news all day long while I'm in this self imposed captivity. I like to take pictures of birds and other creatures from my window as a welcome break.

I invite you to join me in sharing pictures, favorite poems, sayings, mottos, funny moments. Let's take a daily break together.

This is what my husband and I bought today! She is just two years old. Called a Can-Am Spyder, which is what I have been wanting to get, I have pretty much decided to call her "Charlotte". My husband is out of town working contract job for his old company, which is where he found her. Whoo-hoo! I expect some awesome rides ahead.

You are right...that is way too cool. I used to ride in Hawaii a bit. You had to get on a barge to arrive at the events on other islands. Fun is right.

Thank you, John, for the pics and your cheerful message. My cats rule my house. Had a pet racoon years ago (outside on deck). She first came for food around noon; I knew she wasn't rabid, because her eyes were fine. For several years, she would appear in springtime evenings with her babies, usually three or four. Such fun to see and feed them. Had a squirrel also, who ate bread from my hand. How wonderful is our animal kingdom! Good luck to you and everyone.

On Nancy! Recently had Racoon break into my breezeway as my granddaughter left bag of cat food, unopened there!! Went out to look, when I heard noise and heard sounds like birds chirpping!! Called daughter and she said baby racoons!! I was scared! as she told me to go back in house, as they could be dangerous!!! Also think I have something..racoon, squirrel? I'm attic as I hear noises occasionally!!! You gave me another idea of them!!! Thanks!!

I obviously chose the wrong photo. I'm trying to upload the actual photo.
