Visual Escapes and Daily Inspirations: Share Yours
Let's create a space to offer a daily reprieve.
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a lot of uncertainty and fear into our lives. Some of that fear and uncertainty can be caused by over thinking what is going on or unnecessarily worrying. So, I'm making sure I wash my hands frequently, not touching my face, staying away from social gatherings and all of the recommended guidelines to help avoid getting or spreading COVID-19 but it can be a little boring. I try to not watch news all day long while I'm in this self imposed captivity. I like to take pictures of birds and other creatures from my window as a welcome break.
I invite you to join me in sharing pictures, favorite poems, sayings, mottos, funny moments. Let's take a daily break together.

Thanks Rachel! I can see by the photo the sun is out at your location. It's a rainy, gloomy day here in Southern MN.
Hi John. We had that weather here in NY yesterday but, today is beautiful. The photo however, was taken a previous summer in my yard. I love a good Zen feel. 🤗
@rwinney, I should have known. What an inspiring and serene sculpture. Thanks for sharing.
Breathe in........ with gratitude for your aesthetic sensitivity.

Good afternoon. It seems like Chippee knows it is time to come out of hibernation and join the family for sunny afternoons at Adam's Landing. Of course, he also wants the occassional peanut. This year we are teaching him some tricks. Lots of fun.
Breathe in with gratitutde for all of nature.

Looks like Jay has the same barber that I do 🙂
You get me Chris! 😊
I went to Costco yesterday to get my supplements and a few groceries. I also like the senior hours and try to go at the half way point...30 minutes into the senior hour which lets all of the early birds crammed semi socially distant near the door get a cart and get inside the store. It was especially nice yesterday because it was a rainy yucky day and most stayed home so the store wasn't too crowded. In and out in 20 minutes. We only noticed a handful of people not wearing masks but otherwise keeping socially distant.
