Visual Escapes and Daily Inspirations: Share Yours
Let's create a space to offer a daily reprieve.
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a lot of uncertainty and fear into our lives. Some of that fear and uncertainty can be caused by over thinking what is going on or unnecessarily worrying. So, I'm making sure I wash my hands frequently, not touching my face, staying away from social gatherings and all of the recommended guidelines to help avoid getting or spreading COVID-19 but it can be a little boring. I try to not watch news all day long while I'm in this self imposed captivity. I like to take pictures of birds and other creatures from my window as a welcome break.
I invite you to join me in sharing pictures, favorite poems, sayings, mottos, funny moments. Let's take a daily break together.

I hear that Mayo can help with museum tours. How do we find those?
Should we google Napa Wine Tours? I have kids in Sebastopol, you are so fortunate to have access to wonderful farm grown produce! We are in WI.

I don’t mind. From the newsletter article on COVID -19. My husband and I have been in the house for a month due to age, high blood pressure and asthma compounded by lungs burnt with radiation for cancer.
@virgo1952 Here are some pieces I made from different rock.I just ordered some seeds beet and soil I have a big pot in my apt and I m on the sunny side
I did it! Finished 2 laps, but my legs6sre really hurting so I have to take a break. My daughter ordered the boxed vegetables for me. You get what they harvest so it's seasonal. They just post on their website that due to rain, there will not be strawberries. In the last box I got Romain lettuce kale, tangelo, strawberries, Japanese baby turnip, snap peas and bok choy. You can tell they were just picked that morning. They also sell bread, honey and jam. All organic and wonderful. They are more expensive than grocery store but you can taste the difference.
Very very nice. Love your combinations of stone and setting. I could see u wearing any iif those pieces and look attractive. So. I normally keep my “adult” . Coloring off the grid. But, you have shared with me. This what I do to “zone” out since the Y is closed. And have gotten in the habit of reading on the treadmill cause I live in “rainy” Washington. Was playing around with my husband’s metallic pens.(rock pens) Bleed a little on the tail. (Not done yet, obviously!) The Great Science Experiment!!!!!!!
These are beautiful!
