Visual Escapes and Daily Inspirations: Share Yours
Let's create a space to offer a daily reprieve.
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a lot of uncertainty and fear into our lives. Some of that fear and uncertainty can be caused by over thinking what is going on or unnecessarily worrying. So, I'm making sure I wash my hands frequently, not touching my face, staying away from social gatherings and all of the recommended guidelines to help avoid getting or spreading COVID-19 but it can be a little boring. I try to not watch news all day long while I'm in this self imposed captivity. I like to take pictures of birds and other creatures from my window as a welcome break.
I invite you to join me in sharing pictures, favorite poems, sayings, mottos, funny moments. Let's take a daily break together.

@ilovedoodie That pink and white object is the rabbit. The yellow hat is sitting between the ears of the critter! Is actually is a piece of a dead tree that looks like rabbit ears, and was painted. We will be decorating 4 different holidays and seasons throughout the year. We're also taking bets that my coyote will stay and nobody will walk off with it! That coyote has been with me for over 20 years and has moved several times, been many places, and seeing lots of things. Our husband's just shake their head. The neighbor's grown children are embarrassed. Mission accomplished!

5? 😲😲 I am with you there, buddy. Pain is a serious obstacle to sleep. Oftentimes, I cannot find any comfortable position to sleep and the pain itself, regardless of position, keeps me awake. My biggest issues are my shoulders, upper back, and neck (but I have hip). For a person with Apnea who should be trying to sleep on her side, that sucks. I could load myself up with a lot of painkillers but it's not a good idea and oftentimes it doesn't even help. I take a small dose of a psych med, Seroquel (which I don't like) and Clonazepam, a muscle relaxer, to knock me out or I would be repositioning my neck and adjusting my shoulder position all night. It does not always work, but most nights it helps. Of course, those meds contribute to Hypopneas 🙄🙄 so I tried cutting back on the Clonazepam last night. I think it's the risk factor of you being male that is the problem. 😂 I hope you understand my humor because sometimes people don't and think I'm insulting them. 🤐
😂😂😂😂
For the eagle lovers out there. This art work is made out of drift wood. One of many we saw last winter in Victoria BC.
What creative talent lives among us! We see it in so many ways and at so many levels in our scientists, state and local leaders as well as friends and neighbors as people find new ways to speed this mind and heart wrenching period to its close.
