Well I live in Florida and my doctor is part of ENT Associates of West Florida. He also has moderate hearing loss and wears 2 hearing aids so he understands the difficulties. He also knows I have chronic ear infections and have taken a lot of antibiotics over the years that sometimes work and sometimes doesn’t. I have dry ears which may contribute to the problem so he recommends I use mineral oil drops on a semi regular basis. Mineral oil doesn’t clog the ears...it is just a moisturizer much like putting on hand cream to avoid dry cracked skin. It’s also good for itchy ears.

My audiologist is also with the practice. I really hope the iodine works for you for the fungus but you did say your sinuses were affected too. I am a big believer in natural remedies and am happy this doctor doesn’t just prescribe an antibiotic every time I have a problem. He also checks out my nose and throat when I go in for an exam, so very thorough and respected by his peers. I have an appointment with him next week for a checkup.
Let me know if you are going to get the Providone 10% or try the one you have. I guess you will need another exam after using it.
I am assuming it is your ENT doctor who told you there was a fungus.
