@rwinney Hi Rachel, From what I know about LDN, when your first take it, there is about a 5 hour amount of time in which your opiod receptors shut down, so that an opiod would not work. Thus, you could not take your hydro at this time, because it would not work for you due to the fact that the receptors are shut down. However, you would be asleep at that time, because it would be in the middle of the night. By the time you wake up in the morning, the receptors would be functioning again, and you would be able to take your hydro and reap the benefits of taking it. So you would be fine during the day, taking the hydro. Depending on when you go to sleep, you would have to stop the hydro 6 hours before, to give the LDN a chance to function. I think this is correct. Anyway, the LDN may really work for you. You would just have to make sure the Hydro and LDN are completely separated. And, of course, you would have to have the luck that you are one of the people that LDN works for. With the severity of your pain, your heavy legs, etc. I really, really, really, would give LDN a try. It has worked well for me, and thanks for your comments about that. Rachel, I really want you to give LDN a try. It is worth a shot. At the worst, it just would not work. I heard it takes at least 2 months or so, to know if it is going to work. Thanks for all the links. I will read them. The very best to you. Living in pain is hell. The LDN is helping me a lot. I am not even going to try the Dorsal Root Stimulator yet. Thank God. No surgery. Anyway, keep us all informed. God bless, and hang tough, lady!!!!! Lori Renee

Hey there. Thank you for the info. Yes ma'am I have LDN in my cabinet as we speak and will try it soon. My only obstacle is getting through pain at night without hydro. I was hoping extra strength THC would do the trick but it's generally not. Last night I caved after hour and half in bed miserable and took hydro. (I use heat packs all day and sleep with them too, which is best relief, fyi). So that I would not be able to do with out wasting the 1 LDN pill for that day. My PM Dr says if not noticing a positive change after 3 mo then LDN is not right for you. Keep going girl and I'm so happy to hear you are having positive results! 😁

I am now taking 2 x 25 mg Pregabalin-1 Alpha Lipoic Acid capsule and 1/2-1 Tramadol in the morning for the pain-if I wanted to try the LDN, can I take it with what I am currently taking and when would I take the LDN?
