Scared for my mom );

Posted by brookealm2 @brookealm2, Dec 9, 2019

My mom’s throat has been hurting and she says she feels like there is a lump / mass growing there. My mom complained about this issue nearly 7 years ago and they found a small tumor in her brain, but nothing in her throat. They said they would monitor the brain tumor through MRI / CT scan or something every 5 years. I am worried sick now that this lump she speaks of might be cancerous as she claims she feels like it is growing as well. She is going to the doctors on Wednesday. Do you think it is cancerous or could it possibly be something else? I am so upset over this. She has complaining about this for nearly a month. Please respond ASAP as I am struggling really bad with not having any idea what this might be other than cancer!!! );

It’s really hard to find someone you can trust to accompany you to the Drs appointments or whatever else is in store. I talk to God.
My Doctors think I’m crazy because I listen to them carefully, ask appropriate questions, laugh out load and tell them to have a great day.
To move through all the land mines I have found that I have to keep my humor, smile and push forward. Yesterday is gone, today has been good and tomorrow may never come. You know I tell myself I could also get hit by s bus. I am truly blessed. God walks with me and when the Doctor (first Doctor) I saw , told me “well you are dying” I just laughed as there was nothing else to say so I bid her a nice day gathered my purse and walked out. She is not God. Looked into a lot of Doctors and hospitals. I have no idea what lays ahead so I just live for today. God bless you all.

@brookealm2 I haven’t heard from you in a while. Are you doing OK? What did your mom find out from the doctors? Please contact me—I care
