Left Bundle Branch Block
The past 7 years I have dealt with serious health issues, cervical fusion, RA, Barrett’s Esophagus with dysplasia, CSF leak from ruptured peri neural cysts, major spinal surgery to treat the leaks. I continue to have right sided pressure. In June I failed a pre-op EKG. I was diagnosed with LBBB. I have seen a cardiologist who advised “wait and watch.” He prescribed no medication. My pulse ranges from 39 to 112, O2 sats 89-96. Some days are OK and I stay in the high 40s - 105. I struggle to be active, but my “active” is a far cry from myself 7 years ago. I will see the cardiologist in 4 weeks. I want to treat the LBBB; it’s exhausting. Any advice is welcome.

I have no advice but I will be watching for input from others. I have had LBBB for many years but am now seeing my "active" decline as well. Previous visits to cardiologist weren't very enlightening and it was treated as not a big deal. My understanding is that there is no treatment for it.
I think a CRT pacemaker is usually recommended as it coordinates contraction and better cardiac output.
How is your ejection fraction on echo?
Hello @andib and @penn1023
I see that you are both concerned about LBBB (left bundle branch block) which I have also had for over 20 years. I have not had specific treatment for it. I do take two medications for the heart, an ACE inhibitor, and a Beta Blocker.
What else does your echo show? (I'm thinking about ejection fraction, valve problems, diastolic dysfunction, etc.)
Do you both take meds as well?
I already am on ace and BB. Scheduled to have echo in the next months.
How do you delete a post?
Here is a video featuring cardiologists at Mayo discussing the significance of LBBB:

@penn1023 I don't think you can delete it completely. If it has been 30 minutes (or less) since posting you can delete and/or change the wording but not actually delete the post.
Thanks.
I don't take any meds for it and Beta Blockers will not be an option for me. As far as my echo results, I don't know what ejection fraction is but it wasn't mentioned. No valve problems were noted. I need to read up before my next cardio visit I guess.
Thanks for posting this!
