Alopecia Areata

Anyone has the latest on treatment options ? Time frames on new drugs from clinical trials? where to get eyelashes that can be put on without sweating off?

Hi Bill @bilton, I had not heard of Alopecia Areata but used one of my favorite tools to find newer medical or research type information - Google Scholar https://scholar.google.com/ and found one that may provide a little help for you.

Thank you for your response, my sister has tried all the standard treatment for now, steroids, prednisone,minoxidil (Rogaine) but has complete hair loss and little response to these treatments. She has been told the best hope are medication that are in clinical trials now, be have no idea when they will be available, but does not know what to do in the mean time.

Have you tried searching for the latest clinical trials on the National Alopecia Areata Foundation website. They have a clinical trial search tool that may be helpful here:
