Supplement combination/effectiveness

Posted by wisfloj @wisfloj, Sep 27, 2019

Ergomax brand PEA was working so well after 9 weeks of 1200 mg. Per day, thought I was 'cured'. Pain and burning was rare and brief! Then...it comes back. Who would one go to in order to find out if supplements are cancelling each other, overkill in combination taken etc.? I take alpha lipoic acid in the R-ala form, acetyl L carnitine, turmeric and B12. Continuing with PEA since I stocked up! Medical doctors? doubt it, health food stores? Probably sell you more stuff! How do you find a chemist or biologist perhaps? Thanks for any advice.

You are so sweet and a great typist. Are you still unable to post a picture of your bottle?

@rwinney...This is a box, not a bottle. Inside the box are individually wrapped and sealed 400 mg capsules that are sealed. There is no writing on them, just on the box... Thanks for the complement. I hope I can continue typing! I think my hands are starting to be affected by this SFN...bummer. Pam

I have been taking 800mg (two 400mg capsules) of PEA for about a month. Is it better to spread it out over the day (one in morning and one in evening) or should I just take it all at once? I have been taking it all at once in the morning and I seem to feel better in the morning, and then it gets worse in the afternoon and evening.

@cwallen9
I only can reflect on my experience with it. I generally take one in the morning and one in the evening (about 12 hrs. later), and one midday if it's a bad day. That seems to be enough to keep a steady state for me.

But still no ability to take a photo of the box and post it to save your hands? Just curious. But, if you like typing, then go for it! 😁

@rwinney...Not sure how to attach a photo to a reply. Please advise. It would have to be photos of all the sides of the box per my text...Pam

Sure thing. There should be a smaller box above your reply box that says Photo/Files. If you click that you are given 2 choices of upload (pdf, jpg etc...). Below it says Choose file, which if you click should allow you to choose from your files (photos).

There may be a waiting period or selection process for these options, that I'm not sure about. Perhaps John Bishop can shed some light.

@rwinney...I was able to attach the photo for the ingredients in the Vitalize 400 mg Pure Pea box and a picture of the capsules themselves. LMK if you want additional photos. Pam
