Can Tapping on Yourself Help to Eliminate Pain?

Posted by lorirenee1 @lorirenee1, Sep 4, 2019

Browing YouTube, I came upon many videos about tapping meridian points on your face, and some on your chest, and top of your head, to eliminate pain. You literally tap on these points, and say that your pain is not necessary, and the pain goes away. I tried it just a few times so far, and it worked. This really seems to good to be true. Is there any Science behind this? Have any of you tried it? Go to youtube and type in tapping for pain. There are many videos on it. Seems crazy to me, but so far, it has helped. I guess if pain signals come from the brain, and you tell yourself to stop, while tapping, your brain does something else. Too good to be true. How long does it last? Is this crazy? Am I crazy? What do you think? (Don't answer that!!!) Lori Renee

@rwinney . There is at the top of the page an introduction as to how to tap Did you see this? Then follow each of the 3 summits by the different people. This summit goes I think 5 or more days . I did the tapping and felt the shift in my body I had the pain in one area and felt it release . If your just new to it it will take you time but don't despair you will feel it .

@lisalucier Good afternoon . Tapping on certain areas of the body with your problems has helped me not only with pain ,depression, anxiety, PTSD, even family matters. I started by reading the Tapping book by Nick Ortner and reviewing the Tapping.com This isn't a fly by night program but you have to be in it sincerely for it to work If you want to find out more about it go to Tapping .com there is a lot of information there . Bob Procter and others like Dwayn Dryer are talking points with tapping and others. Tapping follows our meridian lines and brain

I read about this on this site and watched the YouTube video “How to Do EFT Tapping Therapy Tutorial” by Stefan Gonick. I ordered both the book by Norman Doige MD “The Brain’s Way of Healjng” and Nick Ortner’s “The Tapping Solution for Pain Relief”. It all sounded so improbable that I set them aside for several days, until my neuropathy got so bad early one morning I decided to give it a try. It is too early to say it’s the “solution”, but my level of neuropathic pain diminished somewhat and my anxiety about it diminished a lot. It is definitely something I’m going to continue doing.
