6 sinus surgeries and nothing better
Has anyone had multiple sinus surgeries to remove polyps with little success? Doctors in Colorado can't seem to find a lasting solution. Been on new medications for eosinophils and this isn't helping either.

jvo23 Just an opinion that I want to share. I see someone is recommending Mayo ENT's ……. I was in Rochester in February and had the most wonderful ENT you could hope to meet. Fairly young -- so very personable and kind. Dr. Michael Olson. He did sinus surgery for me. I thought I might look a little battered and had heard it would be painful. None of the above. When I was taken into the surgery room there were probably 15 (mostly women) nurses, anesthesiologist, and I have no idea what the job of some of them were but they immediately went to work putting an warm air type blanket covering over me -- it felt wonderful. A young lady was going to put IV in and I said I thought the left arm would be easiest. She smiled and said she wanted to go lower so she went to my wrist -- went in with no pain. Dr. Olson and all the others working on me called me by my first name and acted like we were old friends. When I came out of surgery, they took the IV out and honestly, I had to look and look to try to find a spot where she put it. It was never red, black and blue, or any such thing. Totally amazing to me. There was absolutely no swelling or bruising on my face -- couldn't tell anything had been done. He gave me a few tramadol pills to use if needed but I never needed anything. There was no pain. I can't recommend him and Mayo's any higher. I thought they were great.
Thank you for sharing. It's just a on going thing. I appreciate your input.
