6 sinus surgeries and nothing better

See online https//drsummitshah.com/the role of platelets in allergic reactions. Studies such as this back up my feeling, that high platelets may result (at least in part) from inflammation of sinuses, polyps, asthma and allergies. I have had 2 sinus surgeries in past 12 years to remove polyps. I was warned it is not a cure but does help for awhile. The Hematologist does not think it has any connection but I continue to research and there are several articles that point to it. I am not happy taking Hydroxyurea for a year, as I can see it starting to affect my fingernails, weak leg muscles, makes asthma worse and fatigue etc. I was a reasonably healthy, active 78 year old prior to this. I know the Hematologist is trying to help me by medicating with Hydroxyurea but it seems to be bringing me down in other ways. I continue to live as usual, stay active and eat healthy and have thought about going off Hydroxyurea and take my chances. These are my own thoughts and I put forth the above info, which may or may not help someone else.
