colleen young...….. I probably have no information that would help anyone but Mayo's found I had a "ball" of fungus in right sinus. They assured me everyone has fungus in their sinus but that they needed to get the ball out so they could wash out behind it. When they cultured the infection, it was pseudomonas and they had Mayo Pharmacy mix up a special nasal rinse that I did for 10 days after the surgery. I have noticed no change in anything but I assume they needed to rid me of the fungus ball.
