Turmeric for inflammation with MAC

I have MAC and am on the Big 3 antibiotic regimen. I'm wondering if anyone's doctor has told them to take turmeric for inflammation, or have been told NOT to take it for any reason? I wouldn't want to take any supplements that will make the antibiotics less effective. I learn so much on this forum; thank you for your input!
