Frankincense and Myrrh for Neuropathy pain
Today I saw the Nutritionist that my doctor sent me to.. As usual, my feet were red and burning. She told me that many Diabetics that she counseled used Frankincense and Myrrh drops mixed with a lotion and they swore by it.. wouldn't be without it. She had some and we tried it on my poor feet right then.. It was absolutely amazing! My feet cooled down immediately and they became their normal white skin again. That was this morning and they are still okay at 5:30 in the evening.. My gosh, maybe I'll be able to sleep better tonight... Have any of you tried this? If so, what has been your experience with it? I'm hoping to hear lots of comments back...

Hello teetee7... Are you keeping up with my "experiment" posts on the Frankincense & Myrrh NEUROPATHY rubbing oil? Have you tried it yet? and if so, I am so hoping it will help you! My feet are so much better than they were.. I posted earlier today about wearing WOOL socks now to keep my feet warm.. They either burn or freeze nowdays, but the freezing sensation is predominant nowdays... The F&M seems to work on the Small Fiber Nerves, but it's surprising that it has done so much for my Erythromelalgia.. I am just so grateful for it...
Hi.. Did you enjoy your RV trip? I hope the new shoes made it more enjoyable for you.. And did you try the Frankincense and Myrrh Neuropathy rubbing oil when you got home? If your problem is SFN, then this may help you.. and it makes a big difference for my Erythromelalgia.. I have been posted my experience with using it on an almost daily basis.. If you haven't read those yet, you might want to before trying it... Also, I wrote about the shoes that feel the very best for my tender feet and I have spent a fortune on shoes over the past year, too.. like you!
DAY 20 - It seems my feet prefer to wake me up in the wee hours with a burning flare.. Today I woke about 5:00 a.m... removed my wool socks and rubbed both feet with the F&M rubbing oil, altho only the right foot was burning... The really good thing is that altho the foot turns red and swollen and hot, the pain isn't severe like it was a few weeks back.. After an hour or so waiting for it to settle back down, I went back to sleep for 3 more hours.. That's another wonderful thing!! I am getting much more sleep than I did before beginning to use this oil.. Now I'm sitting here in my wool socks, feet up.. and will be making a shrimp stir fry for lunch soon.. What a joy it is to stand at the stove and cook for a few minutes! Don't we treasure the little things when we can do them again!
Hello @hotfooted . Yes, I have been following your posts - I am very thankful you are sharing your results and specific types of pain you feel in your feet and legs. It matches what I go thru with my hands, forearms and feet. I get freezing cold spells on my hands to where I need to wear gloves or even cover them with thick socks. Same with my feet - however, my feet are not as bad as my hands and forearms. It makes it difficult to type for me, due to all the different sensations. I have not purchased the F&M yet, but I will be soon. I have been using a CBD infused pain stick (THC free) the past two weeks. Best wishes for less pain and thanks again for your informative posts!
DAY 21 - Great news today! I slept well all night while wearing my wool socks.. Woke up without any pain, just the usual tingling sensations.. Rubbed both feet and included my ankles with the F&M rubbing oil.. Put on cotton socks and am still feeling so good! Both feet were icy cold this morning, even in the wool socks, but I used the oil anyway.. My calves have more of the tingling sensation now, but I'm all set for a good day, I think... Now I've been checking out Raynaud's looking for any further information to help me.. that doesn't seem to offer anything though, except to maybe wear socks and gloves, which I'm already doing.. By the way, I haven't mentioned it before, but I started wearing fingerless gloves to sleep in (and on really cold days when I can't get my hands warm) a few years ago.. Those have been a huge help, too..
Blessings...
Hi teetee... How is the CBD pain stick working for you? My husband has ordered something similar (I think anyway) for me from a place in Colorado.. Maybe it's the same thing? He was unable to purchase it in a marijuana store and found it is only available from one place in the country now.. My doctor put us onto this topical med.. I'll let you know more about it when it arrives and I've had time to check it out.. Bless your heart, I feel for you and the typing problem.. Not to worry you even more, but you might should check out scleroderma symptoms...
Hi @hotfooted, really happy to hear it's going so well for you. I'm not sure if you've seen this information on Raynaud's so thought I would share it here.
