We replaced the pft with the walk test. My oxygen level is good. I check it daily. Usually 98%. I have a physical job. I practice Bikram yoga. I do get out of breath and winded easily. I've started to really listen to my lungs. When I get winded I take a minute. A couple years ago I learned my lesson with pushing myself. Ended up with a pneumothorax and a long painful recovery. Phew that was so scary. Never thought I would recover and here I am back to normal. The human body truly is amazing.

This was a good information I am glad I saw. I tend to push myself sometimes, or in the past I did. When you are running out of breath, its hard to keep pushing. I had no idea that pushing could case a pneumothorax. How long is the recovery period for that ? I will definitely be listening to my body and taking a break when I should. ( I should have been doing this regardless of if I read something that scared me) The body is amazing ! Especially when it comes to healing. Its so nice to hear that you recovered and got back to your normal life.
