I have contacted the powers that be many times and they have always replied back to me. @colleenyoung, @lisalucier, @johnbishop, @gailb & @ethanmcconkey have all been very helpful to me. Sometimes when I don’t even ask for help, lol which shows I misbehave occasionally but they are always very nice.

My shopping experience was great except I got to much frozen stuff. I received an email with the shoppers picture and another email when she was almost here. Same shopper and delivery person.

I watch my order on my laptop Instacart website where I order it from, and I have installed the Instacart app on my smart phone. when I receive the text message on my smartphone that the shopper has started their shopping, I start tracking the shopper using my smartphone app. I receive the emails too.

one of the deliveries, the shopper didn't use the software correctly, and she showed up to the house with my groceries without notice, and then I watched her drive across town on the instacart map and deliver somebody else'ss order! I complained and it never happened again.

@user_chdb5e8ac How do you know who the shopper is ? Last time I ordered I only found out when James text me but Id like to do same to know who shopper is so I can tell them like how to pick the best fruit

@lioness, how do I know who the shopper is? Instacart works like this:

On the website, Select the store, then select your items, then Place your order
You get a message that the store has received your order (email and text), let's say you chose to have it delivered within 2 hours
Next, a shopper is assigned, you get a message with the name and photo of your shopper, (social media type message)
When the shopper starts shopping for items, I think you receive another message, and as items are shopped I watch my smartphone
At this point, you can text the shopper if you want, or select 'chat' and chat with them
The shopper shops and picks up all of your items
you'll receive another message with the total spent and if there were any adjustments (like item substitutions because of low stock)
your order is paid at the store
you then receive another message, that your delivery is on its way to your house
when the delivery person arrives, I get another message
by then I'm at the door waiting for my order
when I put my order away, I review the service, rate the delivery (1-5 stars) and I can increase the person's tip if I choose to
the tip is a 2nd charge on the credit card registered with Instacart

I had an instance where I didn't receive an item but was charged for them (lemons), I messaged Instacart and was given a credit on my card for the missing lemons. I thought that was nice, no questions, no arguements.
