@gingerw There are so many holidays to celebrate and they mostly involve indulgence of some kind. I did bake sugar cookies in the shape of shamrocks with a powdered sugar glaze and green sprinkles. The neighbors were thrilled as no one does anything much for St. Patrick’s Day. I arrived with cookies and placed smiles on faces. A nice way to celebrate an honored saint.

@parus I will be doing the same thing later this week when my daughter and her husband visit. She LOVES my sugar cookies. Of course it makes a lot so I will bring some across the street to some great neighbors. They have three children, and are such a nice family.
