Recipes, Food Tips, Healthy Eating & More
Some of the members of the Gratitude Discussion Group were interested in having a place to share recipes and food ideas. I’m hoping that we can use this thread as a place to have that kind of discussion. I’d love to hear your ideas for quick meals, comfort food, healthy snacks, and more.
Personally, I’ve just been through a bad reaction to one of my medications that left me with a very queasy stomach. I would love to hear ideas – or recipes – that might be used when you need to get something on your stomach, but don’t want to overdo it.
Hopefully, this thread will even be a place where we can share recipes for special treats and yummy rewards. It doesn’t always have to be healthy!
I’d love to hear from members who have been part of other discussions AND from new members who have good ideas, recipes and food tips to share. I’m excited to see who might start us off here with an awesome food suggestion!

Sounds like she has a loose canolith (inner ear calcium deposit that helps regulate balance). I've lived with one for years and found it's best to avoid looking way up or down in grocery stores. A loose canolith makes you feel miserable, like the worse case of sea sickness, and the world is spinning. To get back on track I do the canolith maneuver. You can learn more about it on the Mayo website.

Linda- I that doesn't work try the eply method. Works for me everytime
No, I've not had the headaches, @lioness. But vertigo, dizziness, discomfort (aching) behind my eyes and nausea. That is quite enough.
@lioness I hope it works for you. Keep updating me on how you get along with that.
I found a description of treatment for Vertigo on YouTube. It was done by Mayo Clinic. Thought you might find it interesting,
@lioness and @harriethodgson1
@lioness and @merpreb
I did not know about the Eply, @merpreb, however, the physical therapist did that when I saw her on Tuesday. Here is a YouTube video describing the Eply maneuver (this one is for the left side) which is the side I have a problem with.
