@rosemarya

Happy Birthday, Jake.
Are you from a tradition of big birthday celebrations, or from a lower key kind of tradition? I remember that on our birthdays were able to choose what we wanted for dinner on our day.
With your limited food options, can you eat apples? I have a suggestion to go along with the foil meal - try a baked apple (in its own foil packet) Peel, core or slice to your specifications. sprinkle with cinnamon, and optional honey or brown sugar. Wrap and bake. Yum!

@jakedduck1 I do this one and sprinkle with cinnamon. I cut the pieces into smaller chunks and do not peel then the pectin in the peeling makes a sweet sauce without the sugar. I also combine sweet potatoes peeled and sliced with the apple and even a few fresh cranberries to give it more zing.

@rosemarya Yum that sounds good love bake apples ,apple dumplings ,and apple pie but bake apples are my favorite good suggestion think I,ll make one for tonight dessert .

Oh Rosemary such ugly 4 letter words.
Cook, bake, peel, core, wrap etc.
Usually go out with family and a couple friends or a friend invites me over for dinner before my doctor put a stop to eating out.
My Mom says she gave us whatever too but I have no childhood memories of it.
I love apples, even have an apple tree. East at least 1 a day. Love fruit and Mellons. I prefer now that birthdays come and go unnoticed.
