Has anyone used CBD oil for chronic pain? And do you have results?

I'm a chronic pain suffer of 35+ years. Scoliosis is the culprit. Not a disfiguring curve but non the less painfully destructive. Almost every disc is bulging from 3mm to 6mm. I've had 2 spinal fusion. C 3-7 and L 4-5. Have 4 nerve root impengements with spondylosis in some areas and stenosis at interval from neck to sacral. Take steroid shots when I can with positive results for a few weeks. Always have Norco 5mg/325 ready if needed. Unfortunately I have found the best way to keep pain down is to lie down. So most of my days are spent on my bed. Any suggestions?

Does CBD really work, what if you are on a bunch of other meds. I usually go in and get a steroid shot in my spine for pain but since I am also diabetic that shoots my numbers up and actually the shot isn't doing all that much. I have just heard about rhizotomy burn . Has anyone had that done, is it helpful and beneficial to have it done...…. About the CBD how do you know how much to take or does your dr. help with that...…. thanks,

.. I take 25mg CBD every 4-5 hours while awake. Whatever your dose keep the same dose a week before increasing. ** If you take an oral med for diabetes you may have to cut back on your current dose. CBD can decrease your bloid sugar somewhat. I eat small meals and had 2 episodes of hypoglycemia when I skipped lunch.

It took about a month and increased each week ntil I had relief. I’ve not had complete relief but I can function normally.

How much did you end up taking ? Do you continue tak8ng it daily and if so how much? All CBD or some THC?

Yes, I take it about 4-5 times a day. The dose is about 25mg. Only straight CBD, no THC.

Hi, I have been using it for my pain . Initially, I have not get any idea that CBD oil can help with pain. I happen to be an assistance for cannabis blogger Julie Ryan. From them, I learnt how it can be used. And I did take advice from my family doctor, They said if i was not taking any prescription medication, then can try it in lower dosage. Yes! I saw a big relief. I guess It will work even for migraines.

@donald. I have spinal stenois but am on other medications for other issues I have. So if I am taking prescription medication then I should not try the CBD oil. That's my question I am trying to find an answer too...…. would taking cbd with my meds cause me problems in the long run so just stay away from the cbd oil. Have not taken any yet. I do not take pills for pain as I have been getting steroid shots in my spine. Can anyone help me out here...….. Thanks.

As an RN I did alot of research before starting CBD. In regards to other meds there are some to be taken with caution. These meds include: diabetic (CBD loweres blood sugar), most anti depressants, anti anxiety, diclofenac, tetracycline, inderal, coumadin, grapefruit. It doesn’t say to NOT take these but monitor more closely as CBD can affect ones metabolism. Personally I have not had a problem with several of these that I take. This includes steroids.

Where do you purchase your oil? I’ve tried two different brands and they are so so. I suffer with extreme anxiety from coming off prescription drug Lyrica which has been a year now and I awake with it every morning g some days worse then others. I take no prescription drug for it as ive had it with pharmaceutical drugs. Would love to know your brand

cdcc, Did your doctor take you off Lyrica? I have been taking it for 2months. I have terrible burning in feet. I'm scared to get off of it, but yet I don't know if it helps. My friend says I need to increase dosage until I don't have pain. Why did you get off and why was you taking? I have some cbd oil that a friend purchased.It was 135.00 for a small amount I can't say if it helps or not . I read somewhere someone said they take it 2 times a day for 2 weeks before they noticed the pain being gone. I read 2 good places to purchase the oil was Lazarus Naturals and Endoca.com.
