Shingles and Postherpetic Neuralgia and Pain
Has anyone suffered from LONG lasting neuropathic pain as a result of Shingles, and what treatment do you use for the pain? My daughter had shingles at 21, a spinal cord stimulator inserted and removed, many trigger point injections, all of which may have contributed to the thoracic pain she has. She is now 34, and teaches yoga, but is still on a compound prescribed by a pain management Dr. in NYC what is basically Oxy. I am paying for this, since neither she nor her husband can afford it at around $500 a month. She could not find a physician in Fl. I know who would prescribe this medication after 10 years, thus the use of an out of state physician. I do not want to see her suffer, nor can I discuss much with her since we barely speak, but this expense, coupled with paying for asthma inhalers that are expensive is becoming more and more of a strain. Any thoughts for alternatives are appreciated.

Yes, it is a hand held tool that I have now been using for 2.1 week. Yesterday was the beginning of my 3rd week. There are 3 settings and you start out with the lowest gradually increasing each week to the next intensity. About mid week into my 2nd week I really started noticing a difference. The bumpy leathery feeling to my forehead is just about gone. My left eye is back to normal size and I can actually touch my eye lashes without pain. I am getting excited about the possibility of wearing mascara again. I haven't for 4 years except on a very special occasion and regretted it every time. A small thing, but as a woman not so small. I do not have the sharp electrical shooting pains now for days. Also just 3 weeks ago I could not be on the computer very long due to the light from the monitor & we have a new Dell flat screen, so it is up to date. The pain actually ranged from my left eye up my left forehead and through the center hair part of my head and all the way down the left side of my head. It is not an inexpensive device, but well worth it when you get such great healing & feel happy and without pain each day. This is truly a blessing to me and I know if it worked for me it has to for others. Like I say though it is not just for Shingles pain. It is for any kind of pain with the exception of cancer. The device comes with instructions and there are videos on line to watch for it. Please go to the web site that Hank B has posted. I do not sell these... I am only here as a witness to help all who suffer from pain and want relief without drugs.
Have you seen my post for Cold Laser Therapy? I have had pain for PHN from Shingles for 4.5 years and with the use of this device I am on the road to healing. I have only been using it 2.1 weeks and most of my pain is already gone.

@jerid I was reading the reviews of this Cold Laser TRX thing and some people say that they have trouble recharging the batteries. Have you had to recharge the batteries and did that work okay? Thanks, Hank
I just noticed the price is down from $1000 yesterday to $675 just now. Must be one of those Prime day deals I guess.
YES! Just ordered one for $675 and they do have a 180 day return policy but I am praying it will work and help my pain🙏🙏🙏 Thanks for the recommendation Jerid and Hank
@bunnyp Please post again after you have had an opportunity to use it and let us know how it works for you!
