Hello @valentinv, it has been a few days from when you posted your issue, has the pain got any better? Are you concerned that maybe you pulled or tore a muscle/tendon? Are you a regular exerciser or decided to start something new?

Doing push ups on soft surface, it turned out, places an enormous strain on the hand's tendons because the heel sinks too much. The pain has largely disappeared but even the slightest effort using my hands brings it back. I was a regular exerciser, up to the moment my hands started hurting.
