Aww! Thank you sooo much Rosemary!! I need all the prayers. I am Geeta ng it done in Rochester as I am a Primary hyperoxalurea type 1 case . Yes both organs at the same time and removal of native kidneys; all at once!

My native kidneys were not removed at time of transplant. I had a different set of circumstances, though.
Are you on dialysis?

@meenusingh Although I had a much different condition than you I wanted to reach out and let you know I had my native kidneys removed at time of (kidney) transplant too. My experience with the surgery and recovery went very well and I hope yours does as well.
