I have been using CBD made here from cannabis and am told that it is much better than CBD made from hemp. This CBD contains about 5% THC, not enough to notice. Its relieves the pins/needles feeling in my feet.

Please tell me the brand name and source of the CBD from cannabis that is helping with your PN pain in feet. Thanks very much!

Do you live in or near a state where medical marijuana is legal?

My original questions is this CBD oil actually providing any relief of the tingling etc. Is there a particular brand better then another.
I see many commercial products coming on claiming to be better than the other.
Anyone using a specific brand and its total over all effect. Is this used eternally or is taken internally?

CBD oil to helps me avoid the need for stronger pain medication plantar fasciitis and severe neuropathy in my toes to knees, and my fingers when used with Lyrica and tramadol. CBD also helps me deal with the feeling of numbness. It does not help with the intense burning. That is when Mitchell's Ointment 800mg/oz. comes in. Mitchell's calms it almost instantly and lasts up to 8 hours. I have tried some brands that have ingredients that make it more painful, but many help.

I have been taking CBD oil daily for several months and lots of it at that, and I can honestly say I don’t think it helps in any way with the pain. Perhaps it does have other benefits as claimed to help with inflammation etc but I am not convinced that CBD oil is some kind of miracle ointment. Just my opinion based on my own experience.

Hello
I agree. CBD is half the equation. Sounds like you recognize that already though. THC is the pain component. Perhaps it's legal in your state and you can get medically approved to try it??

Hi. Truthfully I never knew that THC was for pain. I am in Canada and can buy any kind, I have always stuck with the CBD high concentrate because my research suggests that the medical benefits is with this type of CBD component and not necessarily the THC. I never actually thought of the pain aspect. Maybe I need to rethink this and go with a higher THC concentration because pain is definitely a problem. Can you comment with your experiences or what you have learned as well. Always searching for new ideas and knowledge. Thank you

Hi there. I take equal parts of CBD and THC - both are high strength for my needs as directed by a dispensery. CBD for a calmer sense in handling my disability and THC for pain. My experience with THC is love/hate. Took me a few months of experimentation to find the best dose with the least side effects. Unfortunately, some pain days are so severe that I should take a higher dose but I don't want the "high" feeling. At times I will reserve higher dose for evening when going to sleep. Other times I don't take any when I need a break from it and just depend on hydrocodone. I believe both CBD and THC have benefits for sleeping. I find it takes 1 1/2 - 2 hours until the real unwanted side effects from THC kick in. If you find, as @artscaping refers to as, your sweet spot, then all should work out fine for you. THC is not addicting which is a plus and means you can use it one day and not the next without repercussion. May not be for everyone but, can be super helpful in a natural way for pain... if you can get past the stigma. That part took me a while!
Be well and good luck in your journey.

Thank you Rachel, you are very helpful. Yes tonight I will try some THC to help sleep and hopefully take away a little pain. Will start off with a little and experiment over the next several days/ weeks and hope to find what works best. I am also trying the Dr Ho’s TENS circulation promoter, although I’ve only had this gizmo for two days now so I certainly can’t give any kind of feedback as yet but I did find the first night of sleep after an hours use seemed to be a little better quality - reduced pain, longer sleep for example but I do need more time to assess its effectiveness. I am sure these devices have been discussed a lot on here. Take care
