A rhumatolgist or optamologist also treats this
Definitely an RA Specialist and be sure they have substantial experience in treating Temporal Arteritis, just don't go with one saying the they treat all auto-immune diseases....that's a blanket statement and does not mean they have ever treated that specifically. (I found that out first hand myself).

@peach414144 - Peach I was diagnosed in the Emergency Room at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. The doctor that diagnosed me was a resident in Neurology. She has been following me since May 2017. I am seen every 3 months and I meet with the resident first and then one of the Neurologist in the Department.
