Please allow me to correct the understanding of my job as Community Director of Mayo Clinic Connect, my dream job. Nothing is more fulfilling than being a tenacious connector of patients to help people reduce their sense of isolation, get and give support to each other and advocate for their health and wellbeing.
Learn more about why and how we moderate Mayo Clinic Connect here: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/page/about-connect/tab/moderators/
The most important ingredient of Connect is its members. Happy to see this group form around dissociative identity disorder. As you share pictures, keep in mind that Connect is a public forum. This means the group has the potential to help more people living with DID. But also consider your personal comfort level of sharing and privacy and anonymity. The community guidelines offer tips about protecting your privacy: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/page/about-connect/tab/community-guidelines/
I'll return to the back seat again and let you all get on with your group and connecting. 🙂
