@glinda That all sounds good! I'm really pleased for you.
Keep in touch - I enjoy hearing from you.
Teresa
I will not much pain anmore just more itching from the stitches and dry skin on my legs drivers me nut will keep in touch and let you know how things are going with me
@glinda I am sorry to hear of the dry skin and itching - that can be very worrisome.
Do you have products to use for it?
Teresa
Yes I have triamacolone which is a steroid cream and hydrocortisone cream and that helps alot
@glinda I am sure those creams are the best for the type of itching you are experiencing but there is another non-prescription cream that is specifically for itchy skin and I have used it and found that it does help. The name of it is Sarna, and I bought it right at the local drug store. I have not used the prescriptions you mention.
JK
I have used sarna before but I also have extreme eczema and have tried everything including sarna so my dermatologist order the tramicolone ointment and the hydrocortisone cream because I have a lot of allergies also that cause me to break out in a rash not fun can't walk barefoot at anytime especially outside in the grass as I break out and blister from it
I keep the triamacolone on hand as well. When the regular moisturizers stop working I go to that. Otherwise, I get patches of sandpaper like skin.
Teresa
Me to my legs are like that right now because of the braces and I use it on my arms right now because of sandpaper skin and as my mom used to say snake skin because she would peel like a snake. So it's my go to all the time
@glinda I understand what you mean. My snake-skin is just above my ankle, maybe from the socks I wear - I just can't figure it out.
